The sorry state of hostels and How I met a Thief..

It was a normal day like any other day I had in Room.. Me and Viswanath were asleep..

It was 6am in the morning, the time at when the alarm Rings and when I postpone it to the 10th Minute.. We all have done this postponing during schoolings, college and even now.. That 10 minutes feel like giving you the essence of sleep..

A friend from the next room knocked the door and asked for Iron box at 6am that day.. After he left, I, as usual closed the door but dint lock it.. It is a usual routine we follow in room.. Once the door is opened, we do close it but dont lock it, as friends often come to my room..

Viswanth was asleep, I was Half-Slept and the door was not locked but Closed..

I am not sure whether I have got any Instinct or Psychic ability but I felt that some stranger is in room. This woke me up and wanted me to check out room, So did I..

As I turned towards Visu's bed, I saw a hand picking Visu's Cell phone from his bed, I couldn't even realise the situation and Within no time to react, That person disappeared from my room..



I ran out of my room and there was no one in the corridor but I could saw a person rushing towards the ground floor in the stair-case.. I rushed myself and I caught him at the reception of my mansion..

Well.. The reception had the manager and a room boy.. Manager was doing Pooja and the boy, cleaning the floor..

The thief was so muscular like Bollywood heroes, and just a push made me fall down and he started running out of mansion.. I got up and started chasing him, wearing only Shorts and Topless..

As I was chasing him, He took out something from his pant pocket and did throw it.. I could, from a distance, be able to identify that it was my Friend's Cell that he had stolen from room..

Thinking I got Visu's cell back, I, with a sigh of relief, approached where it was thrown and stopped chasing the thief, letting him go..

To my surprise, It was my cell and not Visu's, which made me realise that he first took my cell when I dint notice it, and when he picks up Visu's cell, I happened to notice him..

So throwing out my cell from his left pocket, the thief ran away with Visu's cell inside his right pocket..



Collecting the battery, the back cover, I rearranged my cell but it dint get turned on.. Went back to room, and still Visu was sleeping, told him that an intruder had stolen his cell, he, disbelieving what I said, without any reaction, turned the other side and went to sleep again..

This is the state of the art facility that Mansions, Mens and Womens hostel provide here.. If you are not aware, you lose your things..

That reminds me of, a Man intruding into a room at a women's hostel.. Thankfully my friend was not there in her room at that night, she was in office, doin night shift..

131 at Triplicane

The six months, that I spent here, is like a colourful rainbow outside my room, and a black and white rainbow inside room..

Yes..

A small room that can only accomodate 2 cots eitherside and a small gap between them..



Being in room makes this lazy boy to be more lazy, and all I wanted here is to sleep, sleep and sleep...

Room number 131 in Gokul mansion was what my address for these days..

When u get down at Triplicane stop, u get to see an arch of Parthasarathy temple, u take that Nallathambi street, u reach this mansion at the corner..

There are lots of events to remember about this room.. One such event is how A theft broke into my Room, and how I caught him red-handed...

Days at RRDONNELLEY

When I was with RRDONNELLEY, I used to go late to office as it takes about 1 to 1 and a half hours to reach RA PURAM.. Going late to office often, made the shift lead, Shiva, to have a bad impression about me..

From here, It is just a matter of half an hour travel.. Came here, anticipating that I could goto office half an hour early.. But I couldn't.. Still continued going late..

I kind of hate to work for an UK Bank.. This is not what I am meant for.. 


The only thing that made me to goto that office was, this tall and beautiful girl, who is 4 years elder than me.. She resembles the Girl Divya Parameshwar who is seen in the 3 Roses AD.. we fell for each other, but we never expressed it although we two knew about it.. She was already commited to someone, so I dint want to disturb thier love lives..Why in their right mind "the already committed girls" see other boys..?.

When I made an error (Infact, that is not an error. Its a tactic to get the work done in a flash), the manager, Mr. Ananth, shouted at me. You dont like someone shouting at you out of nothing. This is a routine for this BUSY TENSED BEE just to get the attention of entire people in the floor. when I said people, it includes boys too..

That day, when the shift was over, When I came out of office, feeling down thinking about the shoutin from him, There was a surprise, waiting for me in my cell.

It was a msg from Ms. Mercy, the HR manager of FirstAdvantage Pvt Ltd, the msg said, "You are shrotlisted, Need to offer you, come and collect the offer letter"..

Yes..

That is the result of an interview among many that I attended, Thanks to Anandh and Chandru who informed me abt that Interview in FADV..


I struggled to get the experience letter from Olympian Tek, and finally, with the help of Shiva, I got the experience letter from Viswanath..

Meanwhile, The always tensed manager Mr. Ananth, who shouts often, died of Heart attack a month after I left RRDONNELLEY.. He was just 42. May u rest in peace, Mr. Ananth.!.  

Trainer- Alloudhin, Joshphine, Anu, Paramaguru, Prem, Comedy Sathish, Shankar, Team leads- Sundhar, Rukmani are the unforgettable people from RR Donnelley..

Pack & Move--Chrompet to Triplicane

Its been around 6 months since I moved here from Chrompet..

There are reasons why I had to shift from there to Triplicane..

Everything was goin fine in Selliamman nagar..

Me, Sathish, Guru and Viswanath had a good time stayin in that room.. Playin with the kid Arun and his 5 year old sister Priya are unforgettable and most importantly Having Beer on Sathish B'day and got beaten from Viswanath is still remembrable..



There came the Water scarcity, It made us to go to the corporation water tank and bring water in Can and In the Vessel (குடம்)that people use to keep water in home..

That made us to look for a room and we came to Triplicane and found room in a mansion where Vasanth had been stayin..

My Birthday

Today, Im turing 22, yes, Its my 22nd birthday. THe one I expected dint wish me at time.. So disappointed..



Well... Yesterday, in Lab, we were taught about Monitoring of Clinical trials, and the roles and responsibilities of a Sponser organisation in conducting study meeting and the responsibilties of us as a CRA..

The mantra of Clinical research was once again stressed yesterday.

"If you do it, Document it"
"If you document it, Do it"
"If it is not written, It does not exist"

Gotta goto class today at 4pm...
